What Caused Hair Loss on Women

The loss of hair in women is not as frequent as menbut may be even more stressful for women. Two of every three women suffer from hair loss at some point in their lives, but it is rare that women go completely bald. There are many causes of loss of hair on women and the necessary to identify these causes in order to find the best remedy for this problem.

The hair loss can be caused by any of these factors:

Hormonal changes in women's bodies are the most common cause of hair loss in women. Pregnancy, menopause or birth control pills can affect a woman's hormones. Thinning hair can occur immediately or within a few months after the change. This condition is temporary and the hair will grow back after a while.

Genetics: hair loss could be hereditary and may start after puberty. Nevertheless, generally begins in the late 30's and can speed up the onset of menopause.

Stress: Many women suffer from loss of hair experience stress. Shock to the system makes the hair to enter the resting stage prematurely. This causes the hair begins to fall. Stress can to be caused by a high fever, illness or major surgery, severe infection, chronic illness, crash diets with adequate protein, and many medications.

Drug treatments or supplements: Chemotherapy is the treatment most common drugs causing loss of hair on women. Certain medications can also cause thinning hair. Anticoagulants cholesterol drugs, dietary supplements and drugs for high blood pressure can also cause hair loss in women.

Hair Loss Prevention: If you know what's causing hair to fall out, it becomes easier to find a cure or a way to prevent hair loss. If a particular medicine is the cause of thinning hair, the physician can prescribe another medicine. A gynecologist can prescribe a treatment to correct hormonal imbalance. Once hormone levels return to normal, hair loss usually stops and healthy hair will soon start to grow back.

A crash dieting may lead to hair loss. Women need to avoid getting into a crash diet, it is not healthy. A balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits and vegetables, along with regular exercise can lead to healthy lifestyles and prevent loss of hair loss.

Massaging the scalp can also prevent excessive hair loss, stimulating blood flow to hair follicles. Often, hair loss in women is temporary and full hair growth can be achieved over time. Nevertheless, it is important to keep the body healthy nutritious foods and exercising regularly
